Hot Brown Recipe

Feeds 4-5 people

Shopping List

  • Turkey Breast

Can be from a roasted turkey or deli slices (we have used “Carving Board” Turkey Breast thick slices from Oscar Meyer, 7.5 oz package)

  • 1 lb Bacon
  • 2 Roma Tomatoes
  • 1 Load of Italian Bread
  • 1 Wedge of Pecorino Romano Cheese (5oz - 8oz)*
  • 1 Pint (2 cups) of Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 Quart (4 cups) of Milk (can be skim milk, 2%, or whole milk)
  • Butter (salted or unsalted)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg (or Cinnamon)
  • Paprika
  • Parsley (garnish only)
  • All Purpose Flour

(Pecorino Romano cheese is preferable, but Romano cheese can be substituted)

Directions

  1. Prepare then set aside for plating later:
    a. Cook bacon and drain
